Students and staff at Einstein Middle School would like to formally invite you to our annual Veterans Day tribute entitled, “Animals in the Military”. This program has become an annual event at Einstein involving students, staff, and community members. It is the result of many hours of planning and collaboration among the Social Studies and Music departments.
This is the twenty first year that the students have honored Veterans through a formal program. Each year, grandfathers, grandmothers, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and neighbors who have served attend this event. Our students raised money for the Northeast Wisconsin Old Glory Honor Flight Network and Patriot K9’s of WI. A check will be presented to a representative of the Old Glory Honor Flight and Patriot K9’s of WI. Preceding the program, we will be serving a free breakfast to Veterans in our multipurpose room starting at 7:30 a.m. We also will be hosting a Veterans Panel Discussion in our auditorium immediately following the program. All Veterans who would like to stay and talk to our 8th grade student body about their service are invited to attend the panel discussion. We hope that you are able to attend this event!
