Hanging Basket Sale
Posted on 01/25/2021
Einstein Parents,

The Greenhouse Club at Einstein is promoting our 3rd Annual hanging basket fundraiser again this year from January 25th- February 25th. All proceeds will benefit the building of our Outdoor Classroom and Community Garden located on the corner of Florida Avenue and Durkee Street.
Phase one was completed this fall with the installation of the outdoor teaching space and amphitheater, and wheelchair accessible pathways.

Phase Two will include pollinator plants, trees and the raised garden beds that will be designed collaboratively by the greenhouse students and the residents at the assisted living center across the street. The plants/vegetables for the raised garden beds will be grown in the greenhouse. The assisted living residents will take care of the raised beds all summer and eat what they grow! Mrs. Boge, our art teacher, will have her Eagle Time students make peace poles to decorate the designated space.

All of the hanging baskets are $25 apiece and are 10 inches in diameter. There are a variety of sun and shade loving plants to choose from.

Please send the completed form, cash or check made out to Einstein M.S. by Thursday, February 25th. All orders can be turned in to the main office.

All orders will be available for pick-up at Einstein M.S. on Friday, May 7th (Mother’s Day weekend) from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on the Durkee Street side of school in the bus turn-around.

The order form and description of hanging baskets can be found here.

Thank you in advance for supporting the building of our Outdoor Classroom and Community Garden.

Sincerely,
Amy Hillesheim
